Her priorities

Advocating, working, building, fighting back
  • Advocating for workers of colour at the CLC Council
  • Ensuring that the CLC human rights committee is an effective forum to bring workers of colour issues to the CLC and bring about change
  • Building a stronger network of workers of colour across the country to facilitate dialogue, share experiences and mobilize to take action
  • Fighting back against racism and racial profiling and the attacks on various fronts against people of colour and other equity groups by conservative governments, working to recognize foreign credentials and to protect precarious workers, migrant workers, immigrants and refugees and promoting employment equity and gender equality.
